Shahbaz - 962: God's Name is Holy (DVD)

Have you heard others use the name of God in vain? I certainly have. Not only in our secular world, but even within the church there are instances where people do not treat the name of God with respect. We would do well to remember that God’s name is Holy.  

In this lecture with Brother Shahbaz we will look at God’s name. It is holy, hallowed ground. We should approach the use of God’s name with respect and honor. We will clarify some of the issues plaguing our churches in our modern day. It seems as though certain preachers are confused about the identity of God. Some are even saying that the god of Islam and the God of the Bible are the same! Some people want us to believe that allah is the same as the Lord that we worship. But through Bible study with Shahbaz we will see that our God alone is holy and He alone is worthy of all praise. Let us visit verses in Psalms, Deuteronomy, Leviticus, and more to understand our duty to publish God’s name and to lift Him up. We cannot misplace or take God’s name in vain. We must strive to keep it pure and as holy as only He is.
