Paul says to the church in Corinth, “For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.” God takes a sinner by nature and makes him into something different, and by doing so He is revealing something to the universe. We see this in the life of Paul--how someone who persecuted the believers could become one of them and not only love Jesus but even sacrifice his life for Him. This reveals the mystery of God to the people around him. 

Colossians 1:26 says, “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints.” This is the character of Jesus being formed in us. Do you want to be a mystery and reveal God’s character to the universe?
